Striving Towards Goal

Been spending most of my time doing school work & study for the upcoming common test. So I had to abandone my guitar for quite sometime. Nevertheless, I had already start learning some few basic chords. The few basic open chords are G, A, C, F, E & D. They are also known as major chords. However, I have yet to remember each of the chords fingering. So I decided to break up these chords into two. Like, I will get the fingerings right for chords G, A & C first. After which I will swap and practise for chords F, E & D. Currently, I have been practising these chords with only down stroke strumming because I just want to get the chords fingering right first. So after I am comfortable with the fingerings I will then start practising the different kinds of strumming patterns.

Hey Ho! Okay, finally I've bought the guitar strings. & it costs me S$8.50. So now Im off to re-string my guitar.

Before I can even get started, I first need to re-string my acoustic guitar. Due to school hecticness, I don't even have the time to play my guitar. Or even pick it up to wipe the strings & clean it. So it was just left unplayed. Therefore all of the strings are very old & rusty. That means they can snap & break at anytime whenever they are being played. So I decided to buy the guitar strings at peninsula plaza situated in City Hall. There are many different guitar shops that can be found in peninsula plaza. But most of the time I will go for the shop named "Guitar Davis". This is because my friends recommended it to me & they have give good feedbacks. Also to me its a thumbs up for their services.

Been so eager to learn to play a guitar since I was young. Music is my passion & I love listening to them. Any types of music would be fine as long as it rocks my undies off. I like to be expose to all sorts of music so as to be universal. But for sure I will always listen to the guitars when listening to a song. This is because I find it interesting how a guitar playing can adds on to a song to make it sounds more lively & kicking. This is the reason why I am keen to learn a guitar. & hopefully by week 13 I would be able to play few songs on the guitar. But before that, I need to learn few basic chords first before I can start learning. I will update & show my progress as days pass by. Rock on \m/
